I thought this would be the end of the series but I see there is one to come。 Disappointed that there wasn’t more answers in the end。 Will definitely read the last one but hope it’s not drawn out as this one was。

Gonna try to actually write reviews this year instead of just giving star ratings， so here it goes！ I read the first two books of this series last year and listened to the last five on audible over the last 3 weeks。 I found that as soon as I finished one， I wanted to keep listening to find out what was next！ I enjoyed listening to them as I would have likely completely botched the pronunciation of a lot of the names and other terms/words had I read the book， and I enjoyed hearing the different a Gonna try to actually write reviews this year instead of just giving star ratings， so here it goes！ I read the first two books of this series last year and listened to the last five on audible over the last 3 weeks。 I found that as soon as I finished one， I wanted to keep listening to find out what was next！ I enjoyed listening to them as I would have likely completely botched the pronunciation of a lot of the names and other terms/words had I read the book， and I enjoyed hearing the different accents that the audible readers do as well。 The story line of this book confused me at times， as it jumped around more than in the other books in the Seven Sisters series， but overall I enjoyed this one just as much as the others。 I am completely looking forward to reading the final book in this series when it gets released later this year， and am so saddened that Lucinda Riley passed away last year。 Overall this series has been such fun reading/listening to！ I recommend it to anyone looking for a mix of HF with a great modern day aspect as well。 Yes there are definitely aspects of this book， as well as the others， that are far too glamorous and far fetched to seem realistic - but they are still wonderful reads。 。。。more

Though very political， this story of the missing sister is no less exciting and magical as the other 6。 Though， I thought we were going to get a conclusion to the secrets and mysteries of Pa Salt， turns out we’re getting another book。 Riley’s words just flow straight off the page and are all consuming， it’s terribly hard to put the book down

I enjoyed the parts about Ireland， but some other areas of the book weren’t t my favourite。 I feel like the settings with the sisters were always somewhat rude and they had an underlying distaste for one another that I didn’t detect in the other 6 books。 Also， as a Canadian， I did not like the fact that Mary referred to Canada as gross。 Cabbagetown is a wonderful neighbourhood in Toronto and my father-in-law who is actually an immigrant of Ireland lived there for 10 years and loved it。 Another t I enjoyed the parts about Ireland， but some other areas of the book weren’t t my favourite。 I feel like the settings with the sisters were always somewhat rude and they had an underlying distaste for one another that I didn’t detect in the other 6 books。 Also， as a Canadian， I did not like the fact that Mary referred to Canada as gross。 Cabbagetown is a wonderful neighbourhood in Toronto and my father-in-law who is actually an immigrant of Ireland lived there for 10 years and loved it。 Another thing that bothered me was calling Bobby messed in the head？ He clearly had mental health issues and they kind of blamed him for that instead she could have ended it with that he was getting help instead of saying he was so drugged up he didn’t know his name？ Rather distasteful as the world we live in now with mental health issues in young teens and adults。 。。。more

This review has been hidden because it contains spoilers。 To view it， click here。 Es interesante el ver a todas las hermanas a la vez， pero， como me pasó con la historia de Merry， siento que son historias de paso， no termina de cerrar ninguna y， si bien es obvio que se van a entender los hilos sueltos en el próximo libro， es como si fuera una primera parte de ese futuro libro en lugar de un libro solo。 Más allá de eso me gusta como Merry decide no darle cabida a las hermanas y seguir con su familia Irlandesa。

Sadly， I abandoned this book around the halfway point。 I read the previous 6 books so have been invested in the story line， but this story never grabbed me。。。 I ended up reading some of the spoiler reviews and then I find out there will be another book。 Since the final book will be written by the author’s son， I’m just not sure if this will end well or not。 I enjoyed books 1-5 and was excited about book 6， but didn’t love that story line as much。 Then， this 7th book seems to have gone even furth Sadly， I abandoned this book around the halfway point。 I read the previous 6 books so have been invested in the story line， but this story never grabbed me。。。 I ended up reading some of the spoiler reviews and then I find out there will be another book。 Since the final book will be written by the author’s son， I’m just not sure if this will end well or not。 I enjoyed books 1-5 and was excited about book 6， but didn’t love that story line as much。 Then， this 7th book seems to have gone even further downhill。 I was so sad to hear of the author’s death。 I have loved many books she has written！ This series just isn’t ending well for me and I prefer to enjoy what I’m reading。 。。。more
